Method for treating scandium-containing zirconia ceramic chip waste

The invention provides a method for treating scandium-containing zirconia ceramic chip waste. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, crushing and grinding: crushing and grinding the waste; the waste and carbon powder are mixed and added into a chlorination furnace, air is replaced with nitrogen, heating, chlorination, dechlorination and cooling are conducted, and zirconium tetrachloride and scandium-containing by-products are obtained; step 3, leaching: roasting the scandium-containing by-product in an air atmosphere, leaching with concentrated sulfuric acid, heating for reaction, and then adding water for leaching to obtain a scandium-containing leachate; step 4, extraction: extracting the scandium-containing leachate, enriching and reversely extracting scandium to obtain scandium hydroxide, dissolving the scandium hydroxide with hydrochloric acid, and filtering to obtain a scandium chloride solution; and 5, precipitating and calcining: precipitating the scandium chloride solution by using oxalic
