Zusammenfassung:A system for drilling or tunneling includes an assembly for accelerating projectiles into a region of geological material. The interaction between the projectile and the geological material expands the borehole and forms debris. The size of the debris may be reduced by moving the debris to a crushing device. The reduced-sized debris is then moved toward the surface using fluid movement.
