The invention relates to a clamping system for a bending press, the clamping system comprising an elongate beam comprising a receiving space for receiving a portion of a bending tool, the elongate beam having at least two cavities formed therein, where each of the at least two cavities has an opening to an exterior of the elongate beam. The clamping system is characterized in that the at least two cavities are connected to each other internally. The invention also relates to a bending press comprising such a clamping system, and to a method for producing an elongated beam for such a clamping system.
