Vehicle generator control system and method

The embodiment of the invention provides a vehicle generator control system and method which are used for solving the technical problem that an existing Euro-two vehicle cannot meet the requirement of an ADR system for controlling a generator. The system comprises an ADR controller, an emergency power-off switch, a conversion type relay, a separately excited generator, a power supply and a control circuit. When an engine works normally, the ADR controller outputs a ground signal, the conversion type relay is in a working state, at the moment, after the relay transmits a whole vehicle power source to the excitation end of the generator, the generator starts to generate electricity, when the ADR controller stops outputting the ground signal in emergency power failure, the conversion type relay is in a free end state, and the generator starts to generate electricity.
