The welding sealing method of the battery shell comprises the following steps: assembling the battery cover plate at an opening of the battery shell, so that the battery cover plate is in interference fit with the battery shell; carrying out penetration welding on the battery cover plate and the battery shell; and performing gap welding on the battery cover plate and the battery shell.
