Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides thick steel with good low-temperature toughness for a railway bogie and a manufacturing method thereof, and is characterized in that the steel plate comprises the following chemical components in percentage by mass: 0.06-0.10% of C, 0.15-0.30% of Si, 1.2-1.3% of Mn, less than or equal to 0.015% of P, less than or equal to 0.003% of S, 0.015-0.035% of Al, less than or equal to 0.0040% of N, less than or equal to 0.0030% of O, less than or equal to 0.00015% of H and the balance of Fe and inevitable impurities. The steel plate has excellent welding performance and good low-temperature toughness, and is suitable for railway vehicle facilities and construction of high-speed rails, subways and the like in alpine regions.
