The transgenic soybean event CAL16 is a DNA molecule obtained by inserting an exogenous gene (T-DNA) between a 3'end shown as SEQ ID NO: 27 and a 5 'end shown as SEQ ID NO: 28 on a chromosome 18 of a soybean genome; the transgenic soybean plant CAL16 has good resistance to lepidoptera insects and good tolerance to glyphosate herbicides and has no influence on yield, and the detection method can accurately and rapidly identify whether a biological sample contains DNA molecules of the transgenic soybean plant CAL16 or not.
