According to various embodiments, an electronic device may include at least one processor, where the at least one processor is configured to: receive a plurality of SSBs from a network; identifying a plurality of time slots respectively corresponding to the plurality of SSBs; selecting, in a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode, at least one slot for which monitoring is to be performed in a current period based on a measurement result of a signal measured in at least one of a plurality of slots in a previous period; and waking up in the selected at least one time slot to monitor the PDCCH.
