Zusammenfassung: | Methods and apparatus for storing and conducting quantum information provide a luminescent center in silicon that is controllably coupled to experience a quantum interaction with a first qubit, such as a superconducting qubit. For example, the luminescence center may be a T-center or a T-center system. The same or different quantum information may be stored by one or more of non-paired electron or hole spins and/or three nuclear spins of the T-center. The stored quantum information may later be returned to the first qubit or communicated to a visible sub-state.
