Zusammenfassung:An OCT system for measuring the retina as part of an eye health monitoring and diagnostic system. The OCT system comprises: an OCT interferometer, wherein the interferometer comprises a light source or a measurement beam and a scanner for moving the beam over the retina of a patient's eye; and a processor configured to execute the instructions to cause the scanner to move the measurement beam over the retina in a scan pattern. The scan pattern is a continuous pattern including a plurality of lobes. The measurement beam may be moved over the retina by movement of the mirror, which intercepts the measurement beam and redirects the measurement beam.
