The large dynamic strain distributed Brillouin optical time domain reflectometer comprises a narrow linewidth laser, a light amplification unit, a frequency shift unit, a pulse modulation unit, a first filtering unit, a second filtering unit, a photoelectric detector, a third filtering unit and an electric signal modulation unit which are connected in sequence. The sensing system has the advantage that large-range dynamic strain monitoring can be realized with low cost. The optical time domain reflectometer is low in cost, simple in structure and capable of achieving large-range dynamic strain measurement.
