Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an energy storage system for coupling LNG cold energy and renewable energy sources and a using method thereof.The energy storage system comprises a cold energy preparation system used for generating cold energy and providing the cold energy to a nitrogen preparation system and a liquid ammonia preparation system; the nitrogen preparation system is used for preparing nitrogen; the hydrogen preparation system is used for preparing hydrogen, and the hydrogen and the nitrogen prepared by the nitrogen preparation system enter the liquid ammonia preparation system for mixing and reacting; and the liquid ammonia preparation system is used for producing a liquid ammonia product.
