Zusammenfassung:The present application relates to compositions and methods for making glass ceramic porous structures. A porous structure is fabricated from a composition comprising a hollow glass body and an inorganic powder. The inorganic powder may act as a rigid frame element and/or a crystallizing agent, which reduces the shrinkage of the porous structure during firing. The porous structures thus produced have an open porosity of greater than 70% and a reduced shrinkage of less than 10% compared to green structures prior to firing.
