A three-level ANPC bridge arm IGBT open-circuit fault modeling method based on an FPGA includes the steps that firstly, corresponding expressions of output voltage and current are obtained by analyzing corresponding current paths under switch sequences of a power device under the normal working condition and the bridge arm IGBT open-circuit fault working condition, a bridge arm model containing the IGBT open-circuit fault state is designed, then a fault mode is set to be a trigger switch, and the IGBT open-circuit fault modeling method is achieved. And the fault state can be conveniently switched in normal working condition operation.
