The preparation method of the film photoelectrode material comprises the following steps: firstly preparing a BiVO4 photoelectrode material by using electrodeposition and calcination methods, depositing a Cu2O film by using an electrodeposition method on the basis of BiVO4, and oxidizing Cu2O into CuO by using a calcination method to obtain the BiVO4-CuO film photoelectrode material. The iron-air battery is obtained by assembling a KOH solution serving as an electrolyte, an iron sheet serving as a metal electrode and a BiVO4-CuO film photoelectrode material serving as an air electrode in a container.
