The method comprises the following steps: acquiring an inspection task; the routing inspection task comprises a plurality of routing inspection subtasks, and the routing inspection subtasks comprise power transmission line environment routing inspection, power transmission line body routing inspection and tower part routing inspection; the inspection subtasks are executed in sequence through the unmanned aerial vehicle, and inspection data corresponding to the inspection subtasks are obtained; analyzing the inspection data, and determining a first fault type of the power transmission line; the first fault type comprises a power transmission line environment fault, a power transmission line body fault and a tower part fault; and analyzing the inspection data corresponding to the first fault type again to obtain a second fault type of the power transmission line.
