Zusammenfassung:The invention provides a method for improving the CID efficiency of a linear ion trap, and the method comprises the steps: exerting a DC voltage on end cover electrodes at an ion inlet end and an ion outlet end of the linear ion trap, and enabling the amplitude of the DC voltage to be larger than the amplitude of the DC voltage on a cylindrical electrode of the ion trap; the voltage amplitude on one or two end cover electrodes is switched, so that the relative potential between the two end cover electrodes is switched from a positive value to a negative value; and ions in the linear ion trap move back and forth between the two end cover electrodes along the axial direction of the ion trap, so that the CID efficiency is improved.
