The invention discloses an EPDM (Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Monomer) particle with good weather resistance and a preparation method thereof. The EPDM particle comprises the following raw materials: (a) at least one ethylene-propylene-diene monomer; (b) block poly (butyl acrylate) at least containing poly (hexafluorobutyl acrylate); and (c) at least containing coal mine slag, asbestos powder and a vulcanizing agent.
