The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing absolute dry wood; (2) absolute dry wood is soaked in the lignin modified solution to obtain a lignin modified wood template; (3) the lignin modified wood formwork is dewatered after being cleaned; (4) preparing resin containing thermochromic nano particles; and (5) resin containing the thermochromic nano particles is poured into the wood template to be fully impregnated, then a hot press is used for hot pressing, and the thermochromic compressed transparent wood is obtained.
