Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a molecular marker related to breeding traits of Muscovy ducks and application, and belongs to the technical field of biology. The molecular marker comprises SNP3 and SNP4, and the SNP3 is located at g.254Ggt of a nucleotide sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1; at the site A, a base is mutated into G or A; the SNP4 is located at g.270Cgt of a nucleotide sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1; at the T site, the basic group is mutated into C or T. By analyzing the TAT gene, it is found that the exon region of the gene has a plurality of SNP loci significantly related to the reproductive performance of the Muscovy ducks, a new SNP molecular marker is provided for MAS, and the molecular marker can accurately identify the reproductive traits of the white Muscovy ducks at different week ages so as to provide scientific data for breeding of the Muscovy ducks.
