Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for detecting and reading barcodes marked on a glass substrate. The method can effectively detect possible barcodes in the raster image and extract valuable features of the image to provide an abstract representation of the barcodes, which only contains information required to process it by decoding or conversion algorithms. More accurately, the method according to the invention relies on image processing of raster images of barcodes through a chain convolutional artificial neural network in order to provide a universal, highly adaptive, storage-efficient and reliable probabilistic method to detect and read barcodes.
