Zusammenfassung:A wear-resistant steel containing, in mass%, 0.08-0.20% of C, 0.01-0.50% of Si, 0.10-2.00% of Mn, and 2.10-8.00% of Cr, the amount of carbides contained in the metallographic structure being 0.5% by area% or less, the average circle-equivalent diameter of the carbides being 500 nm or less, the average particle diameter of the first 10 crystal grains in the order from the large particle diameter among the crystal grains surrounded by a large inclination angle grain boundary of 15 DEG or more being 40 [mu] m or less, and the average particle diameter of the second 10 crystal grains in the order from the large particle diameter.
