The invention relates to a bus bar portion. The bus bar portion (1) includes a bus bar conductor (12) and a bus bar end (15), and the bus bar end (15) is integrally formed with the bus bar conductor (12). The bus bar end (15) comprises a connection portion (16), wherein the connection portion (16) is configured for insertion into a mating connector to establish an electrical connection.
