The invention aims to provide a method for acquiring fogdrop characteristic parameters based on image processing. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a fogdrop image of a target area; carrying out image preprocessing on the fogdrop image; according to an image preprocessing result, screening out a feature region, calculating fogdrops which can be matched in the feature region, and according to the image preprocessing result, obtaining the number of fogdrops in the fogdrop image, the size of pixels occupied by the fogdrops and the coordinate positions of the fogdrops; and calculating the movement speed of the matchable fog drops according to the matching calculation result of the matchable fog drops in the feature region and the coordinate positions of the matchable fog drops. The method for obtaining the fogdrop characteristic parameters based on image processing does not interfere with the rotor wing wind field and fogdrop movement, and is suitable for small-range and short-time wind field sp
