During industrial scenarios, such as production processes, assembly processes, material handling, article classification, and the like, at least a possible spatial trajectory of objects, such as humans, production parts, stationary and mobile robots, AGVs, and the like, is determined in a predefined area, and a static 4D structure of an area in which the spatial trajectory of the objects, such as humans, production parts, stationary and mobile robots, AGVs, and the like, is determined. Possible locations of the object are determined based on the location of the object and the time at which the object will be in that location to identify potential collision events and remedial those potential collision events.
