Maximum takeoff weight determination of aircraft

The aircraft has a first principle takeoff processor (PCE), a predictive flight envelope protection processor (PFEP), and a maximum takeoff weight processor. The PCE is programmed to predict a terrain clearance position and an energy state when the aircraft is terrain clearance on a runway. The PFEP is programmed to assess whether each of the plurality of potential trajectories conforms to or violates a predetermined flight envelope.
