Vehicle bus wire harness test system and method

The invention provides a vehicle bus wire harness testing system and method, and relates to the technical field of vehicle testing. The system comprises a yellow board vehicle rack and a test cabinet. The yellow board vehicle rack comprises a BOB control box, a whole vehicle wire harness of a to-be-tested vehicle, a Y-shaped ETC wire harness and an OBD port, wherein the whole vehicle wire harness, the Y-shaped ETC wire harness and the OBD port are connected with the BOB control box. A wire harness total connector in the whole vehicle wire harness is connected to the Y-shaped ETC wire harness in a parallel connection mode; a bus port of the Y-type ETC wire harness is connected with the OBD port so as to be connected with the test cabinet through the OBD port, and each wire harness of the whole vehicle wire harness is provided with a controller with a unique controller ID identifier. Compared with the prior art in which a wire harness short sample and a vertical rack are adopted to assist the test cabinet HIL t
