Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a method for producing substituted aromatic hydrocarbon through gas phase alkylation and a catalyst thereof. According to the method, aromatic hydrocarbon and olefin are used as raw materials and are subjected to contact reaction with a catalyst to generate substituted aromatic hydrocarbon. The catalyst is a silicon-aluminum molecular sieve catalyst, a molecular sieve crystal in the catalyst contains cubic cavities with three size distributions, and the area distribution ranges of rectangles corresponding to vertical projections of the three cubic cavities from top to bottom are respectively within 20-100 nm < 2 >, 200-1200 nm < 2 > and 1500-3000 nm < 2 >.
