Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a base station for a real-time dynamic (RTK) positioning system having one or more rover units and/or to an RTK positioning system and/or to a method for calibrating a base station and/or to a method for operating an RTK positioning system. The base station comprises a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver, transmission means for transmitting correction data to one or more rover units, a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) module, and at least one control unit, where the at least one control unit is adapted to operate the base station in a roaming mode, comprising receiving correction data from a protocol (NTRIP) server for RTCM network transmission over the Internet, and determining two or more roaming mode locations of the base station based on the received NTRIP correction data, and wherein the at least one control unit is adapted to determine an optimized location of the base station by averaging the roaming mode locations.
