RF connector with arc suppression

A coaxial connector system includes a body and a load connector. The body has a cylindrical bore that retains an insulating tube that further retains a cylindrical center conductor. The conductor has a contact region at one end that is recessed within the tube by a recessed distance such that an arc formation space is formed.
