The preparation method of the ferric oxide/nitrogen-doped carbon electrode material provided by the invention comprises the following steps: mixing a biomass carbon source with a nitrogen source, an iron salt and water for modification to obtain modified biomass carbon; roasting the modified biomass carbon to obtain roasted powder; and carrying out secondary carbonization on the roasted powder to obtain the ferric oxide/nitrogen-doped carbon electrode material.
