The invention discloses a transportation system used for being matched with a continuous tunneling shield tunneling machine and a working method of the transportation system. The system comprises a deslagging module installed on the rear portion of a cutter head, a transverse conveying module installed in a tunnel and a vertical conveying module installed in a vertical shaft. The transverse conveying module comprises an upper magnetic suspension track, a lower magnetic suspension track, a magnetic suspension vehicle, a front track switching device and a rear track switching device, the upper magnetic suspension track and the lower magnetic suspension track are formed by splicing module units and are extended forwards to a shield matching trolley along with advancing of a shield tunneling machine with a tunnel portal as a starting point, and the magnetic suspension vehicle is used for bearing a box body; the front shunting device and the rear shunting device are used for transferring the maglev vehicle between
