Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to the technical field of medicines and the technical field of neurodegenerative diseases, in particular to small interfering RNA (Ribonucleic Acid) for inhibiting ACSL4 expression and application thereof, and the nucleotide sequence of the small interfering RNA is as follows: a positive-sense strand: 5 '-GAUGGAUGCUUACAGAUAAt-3'; and an antisense strand: 5 '-UAAUCUGUAAGCAUCAUCUCt-3'. According to the application disclosed by the invention, the expression of ACSL4 is inhibited by designing and synthesizing small interfering RNA for the first time, neuroinflammation mediated by microglial cells is remarkably inhibited, the death rate of dopaminergic neurons in the MPTP-induced Parkinson's disease is reduced, and the motor nerve function of the Parkinson's disease is improved. The invention provides an important theoretical basis for clinical application of small interfering RNA, and also provides a new thought for research and development of drugs for treating Parkinson's disease.
