The invention provides a rearview mirror system. The rearview mirror system comprises a shell, a single-face light-transmitting display screen, a camera, an image processing chip, a light supplementing lamp and a controller. The shell is provided with an opening; the single-sided light-transmitting display screen is arranged at the opening; the camera is arranged on the shell; the image processing chip is arranged between the shell and the single-sided light-transmitting display screen and is electrically connected with the single-sided light-transmitting display screen; the light supplementing lamp is arranged on the shell; the controller is arranged between the shell and the single-face light-transmitting display screen. The camera and the light supplementing lamp are electrically connected with the controller. When the environment brightness value of the rearview mirror system is smaller than a preset value, the controller controls the light supplementing lamp and the camera to work, the camera is used for
