The method comprises the following steps: establishing a three-dimensional transformer substation bird-related fault risk assessment model according to risk, vulnerability and exposure assessment indexes of a transformer substation bird-related fault risk; an SVM algorithm is adopted to obtain a risk assessment value, an improved CRITIC-TOPSIS method is adopted to obtain a vulnerability assessment value, and an exposure assessment value is determined according to the level corresponding to the transformer substation; calculating a bird-related fault risk assessment value of the transformer substation according to the three-dimensional bird-related fault risk assessment model of the transformer substation; and finally determining the bird-related fault risk level of the transformer substation.
