Augmented reality environment augmentation

The invention discloses augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) environment augmentation using an eye-mounted device. The eye-mounted device comprises an image capturing system, a display system and a positioning detection system. The image capture system and the localization detection system identify feature points within a point cloud representing a captured environment image.
