The invention relates to the technical field of hydraulic driving, and discloses a pump-controlled asymmetric hydraulic cylinder control system which comprises a four-quadrant constant displacement pump and a four-quadrant variable displacement pump which are coaxially connected with a permanent magnet synchronous motor, an asymmetric oil cylinder and a control system matched with the asymmetric oil cylinder. Wherein the control system comprises a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), a permanent magnet synchronous motor driver connected with the PLC, a position sensor and a loading force sensor connected with the input end of the PLC, and the loading force sensor is used for collecting a loading force signal on the asymmetric oil cylinder; the motion direction and the loading force direction of an input position command signal and a position feedback signal of a position sensor are combined, and then the current working mode is judged; and the PLC sends an instruction to the bidirectional direct-current conve
