Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a shell structure and a sealing method thereof.The shell structure comprises two oppositely-arranged shells, the adjacent ends of the two shells are each provided with a metal flange plate, the two metal flange plates abut against each other, and a groove is formed in the inner side face of at least one of the two metal flange plates arranged in the abutting mode; the grooves extend in the circumferential direction of the metal flange plates and penetrate through the abutting faces of the corresponding metal flange plates, in order to seal the shell structure, the abutting faces of the two metal flange plates are coated with sealant, due to the existence of the grooves, when the abutting faces of the two metal flange plates abut against each other, part of the sealant enters the grooves, and therefore the sealing performance of the shell structure is improved.
