The high-weldability titanium alloy provided by the invention comprises the following chemical components in percentage by mass: 4.0 to 5.4 percent of Al, 1.0 to 2.0 percent of Mo, 1.0 to 1.8 percent of V, 1.0 to 1.4 percent of Cr, 0.8 to 1.4 percent of Nb, 1.0 to 2.5 percent of Zr, 0.6 to 1.0 percent of Sn, 0.35 to 0.6 percent of Fe, less than or equal to 0.15 percent of O and the balance of Ti. The titanium alloy provided by the invention has the advantages of high weldability, high strength and high toughness. According to the method, TC21, TC18, TC6, TA31 and TB6 titanium alloy recycled materials serve as raw materials, the problem of recycling of high-alloying titanium alloy residues is solved, and meanwhile the cost of new titanium alloy is reduced.
