Cooler with open volume control and content fixture

A chiller with an open volume minimization system suitable for use under severe conditions of extreme motion, such as off-road vehicles. The open volume minimization system includes a content engaging portion that may extend from a sidewall and/or a lid of the chiller to reduce the open volume and limit content in the chiller. A manual or motorized device may lower and contract the content engaging portion. The engagement portion may be part of an inflatable bladder system integrally formed with the chiller. Inflation of the bladder moves the engagement portion to the contents, minimizing shake by reducing the open volume in the interior and by securing the contents.
