Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a Pt-W alloy for medical use, which contains W in an amount of 10 to 15% by mass (inclusive), with the remainder comprising Pt and unavoidable impurities, and which has a Zr content of 1000 ppm or less. By limiting the Zr content, the processability, in particular the processability in the hot working stage, is improved. In addition, with regard to the control of the impurities, more suitable processability can be obtained by setting the Ca content to 250 ppm or less. The metal wire constituting the plug coil, the guide wire or the like has good processability. 本发明涉及医疗用Pt-W合金,其包含10质量%以上且15质量%以下的W,并且余量由Pt和不可避免的杂质构成,所述医疗用Pt-W合金中,Zr含量为1000ppm以下。通过限制Zr含量,加工性、特别是热加工阶段的加工性得到改善。关于该杂质的控制,还通过使Ca含量为250ppm以下,能够得到更合适的加工性。本发明的向构成栓塞螺圈、导丝等的金属丝的加工性也良好。
