Zusammenfassung: | Thermoset bulk molding compounds (BMCs) useful for making conductive components such as bipolar plates for fuel cells are described. The thermoset bulk molding compound incorporates graphene nanoplatelets to increase the through-plane conductivity by at least 20% as compared to a BMC that does not contain graphene nanoplatelets. In addition, these compositions have low shrinkage, low density, and ease of processing for lightweight parts. The compositions are useful in the preparation of various electrically conductive components, including bipolar plates for fuel cells and chemical batteries operating at temperatures of less than 100 DEG C.
