The device may also include a processing arrangement that analyzes the image data to determine whether an artifact corresponding to the skin condition is detected at a location within the imaged region of the skin and to determine an amount of tracer detected from the location, when the artifact is detected and the amount of tracer is below a predetermined threshold level, the image data is transmitted to the processor.
