The main technical requirements of the cobalt-carbon intermediate alloy are as follows: less than or equal to 4% of carbon, less than or equal to 0.1% of silicon, less than or equal to 0.1% of iron, less than or equal to 0.05% of phosphorus, less than or equal to 0.2% of oxygen, less than or equal to 0.05% of nitrogen, less than or equal to 0.05% of sulfur and the balance of cobalt.
