The epoxy resin-based composite proppant comprises an epoxy resin matrix and nano SiO2 particles uniformly distributed in the epoxy resin matrix, the surfaces of the nano SiO2 particles are modified by amino groups or epoxy groups, the nano SiO2 particles are connected with the epoxy resin matrix through chemical bonds, the particle size range of the epoxy resin matrix is 60 [mu] m-5 mm, the particle size range of the nano SiO2 particles is 5 nm to 500 nm, and the particle size range of the nano SiO2 particles is 5 nm to 500 nm. The indoor experiment test breakage rate of the epoxy resin-based composite proppant under the pressure of 28 Mpa is less than or equal to 3.8%.
