Zusammenfassung: | The invention belongs to the field of microorganisms, and particularly relates to application of exopolysaccharide in moisturizing or/and moisture absorption. Wherein the extracellular polysaccharide is generated by fermentation of a cosmotheca pernicifolia strain HY3-1; the strain HY3-1 is preserved in the China Center for Type Culture Collection, and the preservation number of the strain HY3-1 is CCTCC NO: M20221289. Moisturizing and moisture absorbing tests prove that the moisturizing rate of the exopolysaccharide on the sixth day is 92.11% +/-0.42%; under the conditions that the RH is 30% and 80%, the moisture absorption rates are 100.15 +/-0.01 and 100.72 +/-0.03 respectively, and both the moisture absorption rates are higher than those of a common moisture-preserving moisture-absorbing agent sodium carboxymethyl cellulose.
