Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a breathing and heartbeat monitoring system based on a millimeter wave radar, which comprises an FMCW millimeter wave radar, and is characterized in that the FMCW millimeter wave radar is adopted to transmit electromagnetic wave signals to a human body, receive reflection signals carrying vital signs, demodulate the received radar echo signals, separate and extract breathing and heartbeat information from the signals, and send the breathing and heartbeat information to the human body. Data acquisition and analysis: after the radar receives the echo data, transmitting the original echo data to a PC terminal through a network cable and analyzing the original echo data so as to obtain Range-FFT data; and whether a target exists or not is judged, wherein echo signal energy of a current frame is calculated through single-frame Range-FFT data. According to the invention, the FMCW millimeter wave radar is used for receiving the radar echo signal which is returned from the human body and carri
