The rotor core support jig supports a columnar rotor core having a plurality of magnet insertion holes penetrating in the axial direction. The rotor core support jig includes: a main body portion having a placement surface on which a rotor core is placed; a plurality of through-holes that penetrate through the main body and have openings in the placement surface; and a rotor core positioning section that positions the rotor core with respect to the mounting surface of the main body section.
