A driving handover system according to the present disclosure is configured to perform: a detection process of detecting an obstruction article that causes obstruction of handover to manual driving when it is present in a vehicle; and a determination process for determining whether to permit or not permit handover to manual driving when a request for handover to manual driving is received.
