The method comprises preparation of TOPO extraction resin, a lithium-containing solution adsorption process and a lithium-containing solution desorption process, and specifically comprises the following steps: firstly, uniformly mixing a porous material, TOPO and a solvent, oscillating, stirring, filtering or performing rotary evaporation, and drying to obtain the TOPO extraction resin; the lithium-containing solution and TOPO extraction resin are placed in a container, and TOPO extraction resin adsorbing lithium is obtained; and adding a desorption agent into the lithium-adsorbed TOPO extraction resin, mixing, and filtering to obtain a pure lithium-containing solution.
